HYPNOTHERAPY

What is hypnosis?

Hypnosis is a narrow inward focus of attention, it is very similar to meditation and day dreaming.

How will I know I am in an hypnotic state?

The state of trance will feel very natural and relaxing during this time your unconscious mind the right side of the brain will be more active. The experience has been described as similar to dreaming.

How does Hypnosis work?

Hypnois works by allowing you to enter a relaxed condition in which you can use the right side of the brain to visualise and make changes.

How will I know these changes have ocurred?

Sometimes the changes are immediate as in addiction, and sometimes the changes may be in the form of noticing, for example, less anxiety or worry around a specific difficulty such as eating, smoking, or not sleepiing.

Will I make a fool of myself while being hypnotised?

Your are in control of the session at all times, whilst deeply relaxing, you will still be aware of what is happening in the room.

What if I cannot be hypnotised?

Everyone is able to go into a trance, but some people go into a deeper trance than others.

What are the benifits of hypnosis?

It has been documented that the body is able to heal its self during hypnosis.
